Le Marquis de Ladurée

This place decoration, inspired by Luís XV style, was enough to me to want to go there once I go to Paris. But this is a place entirely dedicated to chocolate, so, this desire becomes an obligation – oh, the gormandize, is there a more delicious sin?

Located on Rue de Castiglione, right around the corner from Place Vendôme, this boutique sells, beyond chocolates – in every ways and shapes (obviously!) -, cakes (like brownies) and the best macarons in the world, in the costumers own words.

One day I’ll be very happy here!

A decoração deste sítio, inspirada no estilo Luís XV, já era suficiente para querer conhecê-lo um dia que vá a Paris. O facto de ser uma boutique inteiramente dedicada ao chocolate transforma este desejo numa obrigação - ai a gula, a gula, existirá pecado mais delicioso?

Situada na Rue de Castiglione, na esquina da Place Vendôme, esta boutique vende, para além de chocolates - nas mais variadas formas e feitios (óbvio!) -, bolos (nomeadamente brownies) e, assegura quem já provou, os melhores macarons do mundo.

Um dia serei muito feliz aqui!

Coachella 2013

Bandas como Stone Roses, Blur, Lou Reed, Grinderman, The XX, Sigur Rós, Two Door Cinema Club, Moby, Franz Ferdinand, Violent Femmes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Vampire Weekend, etc, etc., passaram por este festival californiano icónico, que terminou ontem (ai, como gostava de lá ter estado!).

As festivaleiras, essas, esbanjaram estilo e charme!

Inspirem-se nos seus looks para os nossos festivais que, daqui a nada, invadem o nosso país (felizmente)!

A rock’n’roll look

Às vezes gosto de esquecer as obrigações, as roupas formais para o trabalho e vestir algo de muito descontraído e com o qual me identifico completamente. Uma t-shirt do babe, que adoro, foi a base desse look.

Sometimes I like to forget the obligations, the formal work clothes and wear something very relaxed and deeply  related to my self. A boysfriend t-shirt, that I love, was the basis of that look.

Shoe Obsession

A exposição Shoe Obsession, que esteve patente no Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), em Nova Iorque, deu origem a um livro com o mesmo nome, publicado pela Yale University Press.

Os sapatos mais criativos, desenhados pelos maiores designers (de que Manolo Blahnik, Roger Vivier ou Christian Louboutin são exemplos) estão lá todos! Ao todo são 150 pares, selecionados por Valerie Steele, diretora do FIT, e Colleen Hill, conservadora do museu.

O livro estará à venda a partir do próximo dia 30.

The Shoe Obsession exhibition, showed in Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), in New York, is now a book with the same name, published by the Yale University Press.

The most criative shoes, drawn by the biggest designers (Manolo Blahnik, Roger Vivier or Christian Louboutin, for example) are all there: 150 pairs selected by  Valerie Steele, FIT directress, and Colleen Hill, the museum curator.
The book will be available in the end of this month.
